L'organisation du combat Cox vs. Hamilton a franchi une étape importante à Londres où les deux camps (Murray et Cox) se sont rencontrés saujourd'hui 10 août 2008. Le Team Cox (duo composé du
père, Marty Cox Sr et de son fils Marty Cox Jr) a trouvé un terrain d'entente avec Billy Murray.   Ce combat pour le titre WKN des poids légers aura la particularité d'opposer deux Britanniques
(ndlr Cox est Anglais et Hamilton Nord-Irlandais). Il faut remonter à 10 ans pour retrouver un tel affrontement entre compatriote lorsque Ambrose a battu Easton au cours d'un combat resté
mythique.

That’s my Boy Battle of Britain took yet another step closer as both camps (Murray and Cox) met today in London. Team Cox - the duo Father and son Marty Cox Snr and Jnr - rattled out a few
deals ahead of the December 1st showdown with a happy conclusion for both teams.
The fight Cox Vs Hamilton is tipped to be one of the best domestic battles Britain has seen since - Easton Vs Ambrose over 10 years ago. 
“ This is going to be the best full-contact fight the UK has had for years, and unfortunately there will be a loser,” said Billy Murray from London. “ The pair kickboxers, Gary and
Marty Jnr are two great lads both extremely talented and at the top of their game. This fight will need little work to sell because any one interested in watching the world’s two best at 60.5kg
will be in Belfast on December 1st.
