Carl Emery has built a career spanning over four decades at the intersection of several unique fields, including professional sports, operational policing, training, international security, humanitarian action, and project development. With more than 30 years of operational policing experience, he has served as an instructor in tactical operations and intervention techniques, advancing to commissioned officer-level responsibilities.

Carl possesses a strong academic and professional background and actively designs training programs. He also consults for police academies and law enforcement agencies. His international career includes serving as a Police Advisor to the United Nations, often in challenging and high-risk security environments.

Carl Emery has 45 years of martial arts experience and has competed at the highest professional level, winning two European kickboxing titles and one world title.

For nearly 35 years, he has created, led, and developed sports clubs and organisations, particularly within the Yamabushi network. He has also worked as a consultant for national and international federations. 

Emery has also launched and developed numerous events and initiatives to bring together organisations, disciplines, and individuals. Notable examples include the Pantheon of Sports and Martial Arts and the World Kickboxing Forum. His commitment to using his experience for the benefit of others extends to humanitarian efforts, particularly through the creation of The Peace Fighters—an initiative that utilises sport and martial arts to promote peace, respect, and stronger connections between communities.
